As I stand here tonight, next to the love of my life, Emily, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Not just for today, but for every single person in this room who has played a part in our lives and in making this day as special as it has been.
First and foremost, we want to thank our families. Mom, Dad, and Mr. and Mrs. Turner—you’ve supported us, guided us, and loved us unconditionally. You’ve shown us what true love, partnership, and commitment really mean. We’re so lucky to have learned from the best. And while we’ve started our own little family today, we know we’ll always be a part of yours. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything.
To our friends, thank you for being our chosen family. You’ve been there through the highs and lows, from celebrating our engagement to answering our panicked late-night wedding planning texts. You’ve laughed with us, cried with us, and partied with us, and we couldn’t imagine life—or today—without you all by our sides. We feel incredibly blessed to have such amazing friends to share this journey with.
To our bridal party, you’ve been absolute rockstars. From helping me with last-minute dress emergencies to making sure John made it to the altar on time, you’ve kept us grounded, calm, and always reminded us of the joy of today. You’ve made us laugh when we needed it most, and your love and support mean the world to us. Thank you for standing beside us, not just today, but always.
A special thank you to everyone who traveled far and wide to be here. We know it wasn’t easy, and it means everything to us that you made the journey to celebrate with us. The fact that you’re here, whether you came from across the country or just down the street, speaks volumes about the love and support we’ve been blessed with.
