Welcome, everyone!
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Mia, Clara’s incredibly proud mother. Standing here today, seeing my beautiful daughter marry the love of her life, fills my heart with so much emotion. I promised myself I wouldn’t cry—but I make no guarantees!
Raising Clara on my own has been the greatest privilege of my life. From the moment she came into this world, she’s been my joy, my strength, and—let’s be honest—sometimes my greatest challenge! Like the time she decided to turn the living room into a glitter-filled wonderland or insisted on being a pirate for six months straight. But through every phase and every moment, Clara has always made me proud. Today, as I look at her, I can see the incredible woman she’s become—full of love, compassion, and a sense of adventure that hasn’t changed a bit.
And then, she met Leo.
When Clara first told me about Leo, there was a certain glow in her voice. I hadn’t seen her this excited or happy in a long time. When I finally met Leo, I understood why. He’s warm, kind, and has this amazing ability to bring out the very best in Clara. The moment I saw them together, I knew he was someone special—not just to Clara but to me as well.
Leo, you’ve shown time and again how much you care for my daughter, and that means the world to me. You’re patient, you make her laugh, and most importantly, you love her unconditionally. As her mother, there’s nothing more I could have asked for.
Clara, my darling, you’ve always been my shining star, and today, I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of you. You’re embarking on a new adventure, this time with Leo by your side, and I know that together, you’ll build a life filled with love, laughter, and endless joy.
I want you both to remember that marriage is a partnership. It’s about supporting each other, finding humor in the little things, and knowing that no matter what, you have each other to lean on. There will be good times and challenging ones, but if you hold onto the love that brought you here today, you’ll weather any storm.
So, before I get too emotional (again), let’s raise our glasses to Clara and Leo. May your marriage be filled with the same light and joy you’ve brought to each other’s lives. And Clara, no matter where life takes you, I’ll always be here cheering you on, just as I always have.
