For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Emily, Chloe’s best friend and bridesmaid. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Chloe for what feels like a lifetime—probably because it almost has been! We met in elementary school, where we bonded over our mutual love for snacks and our shared belief that we were both destined to become princesses.
Fast forward to today, and while I may not have a crown, I can say I’m incredibly honored to be standing here, celebrating one of the most important moments in Chloe’s life. And I have to say, I’ve never seen her this happy—unless you count the time we found out there was a sale at Sephora.
But in all seriousness, when Chloe met Michael, everything just clicked. You could see it in her face, the way her eyes would light up when she talked about him. Michael, from the moment I met you, I knew you were different. You somehow manage to keep up with Chloe’s constant energy and her endless love for random adventures. Whether it’s late-night grocery runs or deciding on a whim to hike a trail she just heard about on Instagram, you’re always by her side—and let’s be honest, we all know that’s no easy feat!
What I admire most about your relationship is the balance you both bring to each other. Chloe, you bring spontaneity and excitement to life, and Michael, you ground her with your patience and calm nature. Together, you’ve built something truly special, and it’s been amazing to witness your love story unfold. You’re like the perfect recipe: a little sweet, a little spicy, and just the right amount of chaos.
Chloe, I’ve seen you grow from a carefree little girl into the incredible woman standing here today. You’ve always been determined, full of heart, and never afraid to be exactly who you are. And Michael, you’ve embraced her for all that and more. I couldn’t have imagined a better person for her to share her life with.
As we get ready for the big day tomorrow, I just want to take a moment to say how truly happy I am for both of you. Marriage is a journey, one full of laughter, a few bumps along the way, and countless memories to be made. But if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that you two are perfect travel companions for this adventure.
So, here’s to Chloe and Michael—may your love continue to grow stronger with each passing day, and may tomorrow be just the beginning of the most beautiful chapter yet.
